Welcome to the Old Portmuthian Club. The OP Club's principal activity is facilitating contacts between former pupils of The Portsmouth Grammar School. The Club also publishes magazines and newsletters, organises social events in Portsmouth and elsewhere, and provides financial support to current and former pupils of PGS via the OP Charity.

The OP Club website has been designed in line with modern Internet technologies (XHTML, CSS, DOM) but your browser does not appear to properly support some of the required features.

So that you are not at a disadvantage, you will still see all of the information content but in a less organised form. However, you will have a better browsing experience if you upgrade to a modern browser.

Useful Features

The lowest most box (titled "Useful Features") in the light blue menu area to the left of each page contains a number of features you may find useful:

Text Size

At the top of the box is a text size selector. Depending on the resolution of your screen you may wish to adjust the text size to make the site easier to read.

All text on the site will be scaled. The same text size should appear next time you visit the site.

Print this page

The second link allows you to "Print this page".

The link will open a new browser window. The current page will be displayed, but in a printer friendly format. The menu bars at the top and at the left are removed, allowing a better page layout when printed.

You may, of course, prefer to use the print function within your browser.

email this page

The third link allows you to "email this page" to a fellow OP.

The link will open a new browser window. Follow the simple instructions, enter your name and email address, and your friend(s) email address(es) and click the "Send Email" button.

A confirmation page will appear once the email(s) has been sent. Simply close the browser window to return to the page you were viewing.

You may enter multiple email addresses by separating them with a comma ",".

There is a text box to allow you to include your own message in the email.

Please remember that information on the OP Club web site is for sole use by Old Portmuthians. If the OP you send the email to has not accessed the site before, he or she will have the apply for the password. A link to the password request page is provided in the email.

The details you provide in the form will not be used to send unsolicited e-mail, and will not be stored by the OP Club or passed to anyone outside the Club. No email addresses will be added to OP Club mailing lists.
